A Tribute in Paris

I am very proud to announce a Tribute Event dedicated to my sister Gabriela Conti will soon be held at the Poetry Center, in Paris, on February the 29th, 8PM.

Prestigious guests (such as art historian Paul Ardenne, ballet dancer Jean Guizerix, Professor Hervé Le Corre, radio producer Irène Omélianenko, and artist Agathe Simon) will speak about my sister for the 10th anniversary of her death and the publication of her posthumous novel.

I will be part of the evening via videoconference.

I am excited to celebrate my dear sister in this great Parisian litterature place!

Posthumous Novel Publication

My sister’s posthumous novel has just been published at the Edicions Claudine Béal, in Paris.

On the novel cover, there is a photograph of Gabriela by her French husband, Jules.

This publication is such an accomplishment for the publishing team, after a long collective work. Congratulations on them!

I wrote 2 postfaces and let you discover this incredible novel, soon available at your bookstore.

2020 Death Anniversary

Dear sister, today is a very special day.

It’s been 10 years since you died. Such a long while.

My sister Gabriela, the year before her death

It’s been already 6  years and some months, since I discovered you are my sister.

Even if I never met you, I am feeling a deep grieving today. Actually, the whole Argentina is mourning today. As you are a major figure of our litterature.

People are organizing many events for you, here, in Buenos Aires. For example at the ‘Eterna Cadenzia’ bookstore, where I will be. I am so proud of you.

Thank you, Gabriela. Thank you for everything. You are such an inspiration for us all.

Cecilia, your little sister who loves you
